Understanding Cancer: A Children's Guide

Cancer can be scary, but by learning more about it, kids can feel less afraid. This booklet introduces children to the basics of cells, how they grow and divide, how cancer cells develop, how cancer is diagnosed and treated, the current research on cancer, and ways they can help end cancer. Created by Ashland Academy (a division of Bell Asteri Publishing) in partnership with Leia's Kids Foundation, this book aims to help children understand cancer. It is beneficial for children with cancer, siblings of cancer patients, and those with family or friends affected by cancer. All proceeds from book sales go towards pediatric cancer research and programs.
