Rome Board Game

Experience the intrigue of ancient Rome in Age of Rome, a strategic worker placement game set in 44 BC. Take on the role of a powerful leader vying to become the new emperor of Rome. Each player is assigned a hero with their own player board and secret quests, along with starting resources like Denarii, Followers, Scheme tokens, Legions, and Votes.

Throughout nine intense rounds, players compete on a rotating board to earn Glory points. The game is divided into four phases:

1) Scheme phase: An Event card is revealed and turn order is determined, allowing players to activate their Schemes strategically. 2) Building phase: Players must carefully construct structures in different provinces to expand their influence. 3) Action phase: Utilize your Followers to take actions and further your agenda, all while keeping an eye on your rival players' moves. 4) Income phase: Receive your well-deserved income and watch as the Provinces board shifts.

Earn Glory points by engaging in various strategic activities such as building structures, gaining votes, conquering regions with Legions, engaging in trade, collecting items, and even constructing a Pantheon. Secret quests completed successfully also contribute to your Glory points total.

After the ninth round, the game concludes. The final scores are calculated, and the player with the most Glory points ascends to the prestigious title of the new Emperor of Rome. Seize power, outwit your rivals, and shape the fate of ancient Rome in Age of Rome Board Game.
