Hadrian's Wall Strategy Board Game

In 122 AD, during a visit to the North of Britannia, the Roman Emperor Hadrian Augustus witnessed the aftermath of a brutal war between his armies and the fierce Picts. Determined to display Roman strength, he commanded the construction of a massive wall that would serve as a barrier between the Pict tribes and the rest of England. This wall, known as Hadrian's Wall, spanned an impressive 80 Roman miles from coast to coast.

In the game Hadrian's Wall, players step into the shoes of a Roman General tasked with overseeing the building of a milecastle and the border wall. Over the course of 6 years (rounds), players will work to fortify their stronghold, defend against Pict attacks, and attract civilians by creating essential services and entertainment options. Each decision made will impact the reputation of the Roman Empire and influence the outcome of the ongoing conflict with the Picts. The player who can amass the most Renown, Piety, Valour, and Discipline, while avoiding Disdain, will prove themselves to be the epitome of a Roman citizen and earn the prestigious title of Legatus Legionis.

Hadrian's Wall offers players the chance to embody one of six Roman Generals stationed along the famous wall in 122 AD. This strategic game is designed for 1-6 players, aged 12 and up, and can be enjoyed in approximately 60 minutes.
